Default Why the hell is Martin lawrence doing a BIG MOMMA 2?

The first one was horrible and the second one looks even more dumb. I hope there is no one interested in seeing this stupid movie

well, I worked in retail shortly around 2000-2001 and I must say, a lot of people really loved that movie, there were a bunch of old ladies who would come in and buy that DVD. It's far from his best movie but a lot of people apparently liked it that a sequel sounds fairly logical.

Part 2 does looks stupid, and there is no need for a sequal. I liked the first one, and that was funny as hell, and the way it ended, it should not be a sequal. Why make a sequal 6 years later? I guess Martin is having a hard time getting roles. This is an example of his movie career going down.

Solomon how you figure Big Momma's House is horrible? It's funny. There shouldn't be a sequel though. I saw the previews for part 2 and it looks terrible. Martin's movie career was over when What's The Worst That Could Happen and Black Knight came out LOL. He redeemed himself with Bad Boys 2 but those 2 movies i mentioned are his worst.

This is just proof that anything that makes money can get a sequel. I guess taste is in the eye of the beholder, but personally I thought Big Momma's House Sucked!!

Big Momma's House was okay, but it was not worth doing a sequel too. I saw the previews and it looks terrible. He should do another Bad Boys with Will Smith.

Why make a sequel so long after the original that no one remembers what happened in the first one?

Maybe it's some sort of marketing scheme to get people to see the new one and buy the old one to refresh on what's going on.

Personally, I don't think it will be very good. The first one was alright, but sequels rarely amount to half of what the first ones are.

I liked the first one, and think the second one has potential. I wont go see it, but I'll watch it when the DVD is released.

I highly agree. Also, he plays the same character basically in everything he does. So what is he offering as entertainment???? He is boring and dull.

The first was OK but not sequel worthy.
