Default The very first episode...

Was that the only time Rerun wore that color beret (purple)?

Also, i felt that Danielle's acting was very good in this episode. She acted just like a brat, she didn't seem like she was acting at all. She may not have had great acting skills, but in this episode alone, you would think she was very good.

Danielle/Dee was such a true natural in Episode 1, "Runaway". Of COURSE...it just came to her naturally and she went through with it like a pro.
And with Dee's . Tongue sticking out-action...I love it!!! I did the same as a child...
Anyhow, I could've sworn that Rerun wore his blue beret in another episode also, within Season 1...but right now, I forget which one. I'll "look it up" when I look at my WH DVD Sets again!

You know, I can't help it but when I watch WH, I always think abt my relationship with my late brother. He was ten years older than me, but I loved him so much and he loved me and our other sister. When Dee sticks out her tongue and threatens to "rat" him out, I laugh, because I did that crap to my brother. Being an adult now, I look back and remember how he protected me, fought with me (just regular bro and sis stuff) and how he taught me how to fight, how to play, which guys to avoid, etc. I miss him so much. Dee just brings out all the memories because that's how I acted alot!!!

Exclamation Me too!

I have an older brother who is ten years and four months older than me, and he lives in the Bay area in California. When we came up together, in our household it was kind of a true scenario like was between Raj and Dee---only, in my case and Vincent's it was more of an upper-middle class version of it! For real...
I was (and, to a point, still am! LOL) a true spoiled brat... who used to sharp-tongue and stick it out at whomever tried to defy me.
So, with this in mind, Irene, I totally feel ya on that beautiful "relay" story you just told us about your brother & you! That's sweet.

And oh yeah...Dee's "early trademark" tongue-action...HA HAH...

In the opening scene at the soda shop, if you look back, Rerun's head looks funny and bald without a beret, because we are so use to see him with something on his head. I guess the producers thought they could maket him by adding on that hat.

"Bald without a beret"?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Rerun looked like he had plenty of hair on top of his head! With a side-part, yet! LOL
Anyways, I know what you mean about the no-beret thing; it was unusual to see Rerun without any kind of head covering during the opener of Episode 1, "Runaway"...he looked better without it, really...

What I meant was his head looked completely blank with the beret. Forget the hair, because without the beret, it always looked like something should be on his head.

Add just a touch more hair to his head and him and Arnold from Diff. Strokes could look exactly alike (as far as the hair goes NOTHING ELSE!) LOL

Oh No Also, about the first episode itself...

...we got a "first-time" glimpse and gander of Rerun's pop-locking dancing and moves, during that party scene!
Of course, that alone to ME got pretty old quickly (Rerun's dancing and pop-locking)...but anyhow. It was cool at the time, I guess...

yeah we sure did...it was fun to watch the first four times...after that, he should have changed his style of dancing.

His moves were repetitve, but I never got tired of seeing him move. He should have switched up and learned some other moves. Seems like he taught Dwayne some moves too. If you noticed, that greeting they did at the table when sitting down, Dwayne was on the money with Rerun.

Wink The way that Raj tried to go back upstairs...

...after hearing Dee downstairs, saying "Good NIGHT, Raj"...and THEN hearing Mama call out his name really angry-like: "ROGERRRR!!!"
Raj was dead in his tracks as he tried to go back upstairs to hide from "The Belt Beating" Mama had in clear mind for him! TOO MUCH...
