Default March or April DVD release?

Somebody I know in Indianapolis e-mailed me and said they just read that ODAAT is supposed to have a March or April release date. I have no idea if this true or not, but I most certainly hope it is.

Oh, and it is supposed to be the first season. I was hoping 1 and 2 would be released together. I guess we will have to wait and see if anything happens.

Did the person you know say where they read that?

If On Demand shows all the season 1 eps without any skipping, Comcast subscribres won;t have to worry about a season 1 DVD release since we know all the eps on On Demand are UNCUT

Yeah but all of us who don't get Comcast are hoping there still is a dvd release and I'm sure all the comcast users would love to have the dvd's also.

I did ask him, but naturally the answer was "I don't remember." He said he read some newsbit saying that an Indiana based sitcom was being released on DVD so he read it. It could have been something from 2004 he read.

I would still want DVDs because I'm still taping on VHS. Plus I want the closed-captioning.

Besides, the first season might include the original pilot called something like "Three On Their Own" with a different cast. If they can release the original Tabitha pilot, than they can do ODAAT. Who knows? I think Marcia Rodd was in it (the original Carol from Maude, and the woman who leaves the kid at the Bunkers and says it is Mike's).

yea, but how many of the percentage of people get Comcast On Demand, 5-10%? There are a lot of us without Comcast who want the shows they air but don't have access to it

I hope season 1 does well on DVD, I personally liked the middle years of the show best, like around 1978-1982

I'm just saying for those of us who have Comcast then wouldn't be a need to buy the DVD because we would have all season 1 eps UNCUT. That's not saying I don't want it released for those of you who don't have Comcast. I'm just saying if no eps are skipped I won't have to purchase the DVD

Why would I need the season 1 DVD if I had all the eps UNCUT from ON DEMAND? Please tell me-lol

The only thing is Comcast doesn't show all the seasons. They can be stopped at anytime so its better in the long run if their's a DVD release.

That's true, I don't expect to see all the seasons. I will just look forward to buying season 2 if it's released on DVD instead of season 1 if no eps are skipped.
