yeah and i loved him as the voice of hong kong fooey cartoon, he even gave that cartoon class. LOL is that on the cartoon network?

Scatman Crothers was also the voice of Meadowlark Lemon in THE HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS cartoon and one of the cats in Disney's "THE ARISTOCATS" (a role that would have gone to Louis Armstrong, had he lived). But probably his
very first voiceover job was as beatnik Go Man Van Gogh on BEANY & CECIL.
Scatman was a very cool actor.

He was also Bowlegs in an episode of Sanford & Son. It was a good ep & he did a great job in it. They show this ep on Tvland sometimes...

Scatman was also in "The Shining"- he played a chef at a fancy hotel who had psychic abilities. That movie always freaks me out! The way he turns to the little boy and asks him if he wants some ice cream without actually saying it is kind of creepy! LOL! I loved Scatman!
