What a scam of a contest? The judge only awarded them the prize because they cleaned up her husband. And besides how could the Evanses win. It wasn't the best looking apartment.

Well, Willona's apartment might have looked cleaner, because for years, she lived alone and was hardly home. The Evans apartment had 5 people living in it and somebody was always home.

Exactly. But yet Flo always had Thelma cleaning this and cleaning that. She didn't work, we hardly saw the girl study, she was cleaning, wiping, putting things away...boring...LOL

LOL. She hardly studied and she still made excellent grades in school. Speaking of grades, not that there aren't any straight A students, but it was funny hearing Thelma tell Michael "You never made below a A in all your years in school". It was the Uncle Lou Gossett episode. You believe that. I made the honor roll only once in school (Jr. High), and had brainy classmates, but to not make below an A is pushing it a little. And that goes for the smartest students in the world.

Check this out: When she said it, some members of the studio audience even chuckled.

You should make a thread abt this!
So damn true. I would never chastise my child or any child for getting a "B" or lower just because they always got "A's". can u imagine what that does to a child? How idiotic that was. you are so right!
