Season 4
Season 5
Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
Season 6 (so far)

It's basically a tie between seasons 4&5. But yeah, I voted for four. Generally I've liked each season a bit more than the one that proceeded it thus far, except of course for season 6.

I LOOVED season 1 personally because Rory had all her firsts: first crush, first kiss, first date, first boyfriend, first heartbreak and the Chilton storyline and Lorelai and Luke's fun friendship. I LOOVED Lorelai's lines in season 1.

Season 3 is in second and season 5 is in third. I loved the second half of season 6.

I have a couple favorites

End of the 4th season - that is when luke and lorelia got togther
5th - Luke and Lorelai relationship really hit it off despite that fight with Chris
Begining of season 6- When we had hope of a Luke and Lorelai wedding

Thumbs up

All of them have been amazing in their own right, but I always loved Season 5 the most. I remember Critics, fans, and Amy herself, going on about how amazing that year was. When I first started watching the show, I couldn't wait to get up to those episodes.

The reconnecting of the senior Gilmores, the beginning of Lorelai and Luke's romance, Rory and Dean: Take Two, Pars and Doyle, Logan and the Huntzberger's, and of course all the standout episodes (especially those final 4!). It was great.

I love the episode where Rory missed her exam and went off on the teacher and Paris. That was freaking hilarious! I was like *snap* "You go, girl!" LOL

I'm hoping ABC Family airs that this time around. I was happy to see the first few episodes of the series but there was that big part of me that was disappointed when they started the show over since I'm still kind of a newbie to it.
