Well I found out today why Janet Jackson was no longer on Diffrent Strokes
Watching the True Hollywood Story of Janet Right Now and found out her Dad wanted her to Sing instead of Act since it was the Jackson Family Trademark. I bet I wouldn't have found that out on the True Hollywood Story of Diffrent Strokes-lol

That's silly. If she really wanted to act, he should've let her pursue her dream. Granted, she wasn't the greatest actress in the world.

well, Janet did Fame in the '84-'85 season, but of course, she sang on that show.
In the long run, being forced into music paid off, I'd argue in the past 15 years she's been more successful than her big brother |
