I was wondering if anyone knows if an ordinary DVD lens cleaner can be used in a DVD recorder. Somebody told me that since my recorder is DVD-RAM, I need a special DVD to clean the lens. Is this true? If it's true, where can I buy this DVD cleaner.
JIC, my recorder is a Panasonic DMR-E50. (I don't know if this thread belongs here, so if it doesn't, sorry) |

ive used a dvd cleaner on my dvd recorder before
it should work fine HOWEVER dvd recorders do not last forever in time, they stop to recognize some discs and the error and failures go up and up if that happens, it is usually not cost effective to have them fixed, i had 1 go bad and it would have cost $225 to fix, so i just bought a new 1 |
