Default dvd duplicators

i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions they could give me here. it seems that my video card went out on my computer. while i don't know this for sure, because i know nothing about computers, i called one of my friends and explained to him what my computer was doing (or wasn't doing). anyway, while looking at video cards, which i guess i'm going to have to buy a new one, i came acroess a dvd duplicator, and was just wondering if someone could tell me if these things actually work. if it does, i'm assuming it would make the burning time a ton quicker. here is the link

Default Duplicators

Duplicators will work better for you in the long run

BUT I WOULD NOT GO WITH THE SONY duplicator

It is real picky and has a higher failure rate

go with an NEC Model. You can get an NEC for the same price with much better results. I have 1 sony duper that I bought 2 years ago, it worked ok, BUT had like a 15% failure rate, SOMETIMES UP TO 25% failure rate with some brands of discs

I also have NEC dupers and to be honest, the failure rate is now about 2 or 3 % and the discs have less errors

look up ebay for NEC dupers, same price, better quality

and it wont tie up your computer all the time

I agree with Lamont. I have a NEC duplicator and I have had no problems with it at all. I have had it for almost a year, got it off ebay. Here is a link, http://cgi.ebay.com/1-to-1-target-NE...QQcmdZViewItem

Default good prices

compare the prices on NEC

and judge how much you dupe

if you dont trade or burn a lot a 1 : 1 target is fine

if you do multiple copies then look into a 3 target, 5 target or higher, the prices are not that high, for instance a 1 to 1 target copyer is about $280-300 range, BUT you can get a 3 target copier for like $150 more

so it pays to compare

so if you get a 1 to 3 it just makes 3 exact copies all at the same time?

Yes. 1-3 duplicator makes 3 copies of whatever disc you have in the reader drive, good if you trade or sell a alot of the same sets.

wrong, unless the disc is about half full

also they dont tell you the model of the drive, so its probably not the newest version, the 3550

iif your going to buy on ebay

get someone who sells a bunch

megalux7 or a couple others have 1000 or more sales, and sell dupers as their business

but dont think that these machiens are magic and just jam discs in and off to the races you go

you still need a computer to do the discs that just will not work on a duper

and yes perfectly good discs--for some reasons just dont run on a duper
