Here in Phoenix, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet is on several times a day over the secondary digital broadcasts of our PAX station (KPPX). Since the station has four digital feeds, it uses one to broadcast a time-shifted PAX schedule, one to broadcast its own secondary content (including a couple of episodes of O&H daily) and one to rebroadcast the SkyAngel network FaithTV (which itself shows O&H daily).
Alas, those of us with only analog over-the-air reception are out of luck, but at least these multiple-channel digital capabilities might allow for some older shows to get a second lease on life. |

I was vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC last week and was surprised and very excited to see Ozzie & Harriet airing on the cable TV in my hotel on the I / Pax channel at 11:00 and 11:30am.
Evidently, they were somehow airing the digital channel or a local feed instead of the normal line-up of Paid Programming. I really wish I could get this channel at home! |

The only problem is, I think that I only has about a half dozen episodes and they show them over and over. |

..."cudaus1"?
Sounds to me as if that "PAX" (or "i") digital service is running the "public domain" episodes so widely available on tape and DVD...and there are only about 20 to 25 episodes, tops, in that collection. If the "package" WERE an "official" one {through Orion/Sony}, there would have been at least 200 "best of" episodes [out of the 400+ episodes filmed] available.
