its pretty common in oriental cooking, but I've also had it in restaurants on the west coast - i dont have a problem with it.

I once made myself a bagel with creamcheese that turned out to be an interesting combination - i didnt find out until after I bit into it, that I had used smoked salmon-flavored creamcheese on a blueberry bagel. It was alright.

It doesn't get much more normal than fish and rice. Stuffed peppers with fish and rice is really good!!

Rice only goes with Chicken or Pork Chops. Not Shrimp, Not Steak, or Fish

We Asian people eat everything with rice! And I'm proud of it.

That's not weird. Fish and refried beans...now that would suck.

I don't see anything wrong with it. But then again, I'll eat anything. I felt like it was a staple of Asian cuisine in many places. I also suppose it's how you prepare both the fish and the rice.

Well, why not? Fish is good for you....Breaded fish is not. That means no fishsticks with your rice. So if you partook in a dish of fish and whole grain rice, you would be enjoying a healthful meal.
