Storefront during opening song

Is anyone else bothered by the storefront shot of the junkyard that they show in the opening theme. It looks like the shop is in a glass storefront facing the street, but during the show it always looks like the front door is facing the side where the driveway is, more like a house.

I noticed that too...it is troubling
Anyone notice they redid the beginning for the 5th season? Both Fred out front and Lamont driving in the pickup. Of course, for some strange reason, the local channel that shows S&S always shows the same beginning for all the episodes, one that says "Written by Ilunga Adell". Not sure why they don't show the correct one...

Here are my thoughts. The store seen in the opening credits is in front of the Sanford home and is very small. Fred and Lamont used it for storage, locked the front door and put up a sign that read, please use side entrance. Notice that the customers, few that they had, used this door.

Exactly - plus the "front" of the house is where the TV cameras were.

I don't know why so many of you folks get uptight about these minor continuity issues. Remember, it's a *sitcom*, not real life. Liberties can be and are taken occasionally. Deal with it.

Would it be the same for Julio's house, which in the front is a Barbershop?
