Default Private Ear question

I never quite understood Peter's motivations in this episode. By secretly taping their conversations and then hinting at them what he knows, was he deliberately trying to turn his siblings against one another? Or was he trying to make them think he was psychic?

He was trying to create a kingdom of chaos.

As sick as this sounds he merely found it amusing, as evidenced by his smiling at the dinner table under the cauchophony of voices that were his arguing brothers and sisters.

That's my favorite part too!

I've always had a feeling that in this episode Peter was just too much like Chris Knight. Maybe he just looked like he was enjoying himself too much--especially in the scene with Marcia: "Peter Brady, you know something!"

According to rumor, one of the actors farted audibly during one of the takes of that scene.
