Default Jessica,Nick and Ashlee. Will they become huge stars in 2006?

Nick and Jessica you think there spilt up is real or fake? Jessica is pregnant?
Will Nick ever find love? Will Ashlee Simpson be a hugh movie star like Julia Roberts was in the early 90's.. Will Jessica Simpson have anotherhit movie? ( yeah right). Also who will be bigger in 2006 Ashlee or Jessica. More on these questions in 2006i

I HOPE the Simpson sisters don't make any more movies. They should stick with music because that's what they're good at.

I found it kinda funny that the media was talking about how Nick was a nobody and Jessica was a huge star, basically comparing Lachey to Kevin Federline.

98 Degrees' second album was a bigger success than anything Jessica has released so far, in terms of both sales (which it sold over 5 million) and in terms of hits (two top 10 singles and a third that just barely missed it and has remained an AC staple over the years). I just find it funny that they were acting like Nick was Kevin to Jessica's Britney, when he saw more success with 98 Degrees than she has ever seen. I don't think Jessica's yet recorded a song that lives on like The Hardest Thing or I Do (Cherish You), the latter of which will never die as long as there is an audience for soft rock and radio hosts like Delilah.

Yeah yeah, I know 98 weren't as popular as BSB or N'Sync, but that's not the point (and Jessica's ever been as popular as Britney, Christina or Beyonce?), the point was it's kinda funny that he is now this K-Fed to her, when when they first got together back in the day, he was infinately more popular than her.

true, but the media loves her. Last night Prime Time Live had something about the year in celebrities, and they mentioned "Jessica Simpson and Nick somebody broke up this year". (to add insult to injury, they then refered to Britney's husband as Kevin somebody). 98 Degrees time in the sun has come and gone some time ago but I'd certainly argue that Nick had more success during the year and a half to two years that 98 Degrees were popular than Jessica had at the height of her career last year. To compare him to Kevin is insane because for a long time, Jessica was known as "Nick Lachey's girlfriend" before Nick was known as "Jessica Simpson's husband", whereas Kevin was never really anything special before Britney

Unless Nick comes up with something good in the recording studio, I'm afraid he's going to be the butt of "where are they now" jokes for the rest of his life.

I don't think all three of them are anything to write home about.

you really weren't missing that much, even though I did think "The Hardest Thing" was actually not half-bad for teen-pop music. Their ultra-sappy ballad "I Do (Cherish You)" is still getting played on the AC stations seven years later, especially when that stupid Delilah show comes on. Their third album was supposed to launch them into N'Sync territory and it did the exact opposite by flopping, and that was pretty much the end of 98 Degrees as we know it.
