Question accurate weight in the day

I've been trying to get in shape this winter and I just wanted to ask what would be my most accurate weight in the day? If I were to check my weight on say, Monday would it be accurate if I check it in the morning before I eat anything or is it at the end of the day after I've eaten? I've asked more than one person who I know and I get mixed responses so I don't know which is correct. Please reply.

My mom has always told me the best time to check your weight is after you have woken up and used the bathroom right before you eat any day of the week. You are at your lowest then and you have just emptied your bladder (and maybe your bowels too) so your system is empty

Morning time. And try not to weigh yourself everyday. Try doing it once a week. And if you are working out with weights don't get upset if your weight doesn't go down. With weight training you are building up muscle mass which is replacing lost body fat. Go by what you look like in the mirror not by your weight on the scale. If you weigh 120lbs now but are kind of flabby and 3 months later you still weigh 120lbs but are more firm and have definition you've made good progress!!

Definetly morning, especially if you've gotten plenty of sleep. For some reason, I don't "lose weight" as well if I've only slept 5 hours, as opposed to 10.

And weigh yourself with as little clothing on as possible.

Morning before eating. And maybe at the very end of the day, like right before you go to bed.

morning.

and ill agree with what was said earlier...dont weigh yourself every day or get too caught up in numbers...muscle does weight more than fat and you may tone up and find youve gained a little or stayed the same.

Yeah. I weighed myself after coming home from the gym this morning and almost cried when the scale siad I gained 6 pounds... then after a second, it hit me. I forgot that muscle weighs more than fat.

Default Question

Hey, I have a question.....if you're going to the doctors to get weighed, should you not eat anything that day so your weight will be more accurate?

That's the worst time to weight yourself. Cause all of the food you've eaten is in your system.
