Anyone ever hear abt "Pope JOAN" (YES, A FEMALE)? 20/20 Segment Friday
I vaguely remember a long time ago reading abt a female pope who was pope for two years before she was "discovered" and stoned to death.
I had forgotten all abt the story until a commercial for this Friday's 20/20 which will talk abt this supposed female pope. I looked up info on the net and came up with so many links regarding this. I never heard anything about the Pope Joan thing until this commercial started talking about it. I probably won't watch it. I hate the way the big three networks cover any kind of Religious story. I always end up incredibly offended at them taking something that I'm so passionate about, so lightly. The program may be interesting, but I'm definitely not going to watch.
