What NEW themes do you want to see on AI5? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Yeah. Title says all.

I would like to see:

Rock
TV Themes (haha it would be fun but it might not really work out)
Songs from Past Idols (like, songs from other Idol's CDs. I think that would be a cool theme)
Free Choice Week (so the contesants could have a free choice one week, maybe top 12 week, to express their style)
One Hit Wonders (could be intersting. not such a limited choice)
Beatles Week (I dont like people things but the contesants could pull this off. It would be cool too).

Any others?

Past Idols. I agree with you on that! Id love to see them perform songs from Idols, but itd be weird

TV Themes

They can combine 2 songs into a 2-song-medley-performance, since they tend to be short.

I do like the past Idol song theme idea you guys mentioned earlier though.

For the Past Idols theme, it would be SO COOL if Idol Winners came and guest judged during that theme. But it would have to be Carrie or Kelly. Not Ruben or Fantasia.

I heard that Kelly didn't want to have anything to do with American Idol anymore though. Is that true?

I dont think so...I mean she would rather not be associated with AI and she's kinda trying to stay away from it to help her image, but I dont think she's all "EWW! ITS AI!!! I HATE THAT STUPID SHOW!!!! LETS ALL RIOT AGAINST AI!!!!!!1111!!!!"

TV would be AWESOME, but of course theyd have to manage to get all the rights from the tv networks, etc. Could get tricky.

As for Kelly, I remember reading an interview saying she wanted nothing to do with AI anymore since Simon [Fuller] was never there for her when he shouldve been.

Yeah, same here. I really hated Musicals night last season and also for Idolized, I was really stuck on what song to "sing" for Musicals Week. But times have passed and now, I have discovered MY musical.
