Default Favorite Night to Watch TV???

Mine was:
  • From 1969-1974 Friday nights on ABC starting with The Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, Room 222, The Odd Couple and Love American Style. Those were quality family shows. I wish they would had kept Nanny and the Professor on Friday nights. I had preferred that show over the Odd Couple. That was the true TGIF night on ABC. The one they had in the late 80s into the 90s was a pale version of the early 70s TGIF.
  • From 1972-1977 Saturday nights on CBS. Starting off with All in the Family, Bridget Loves Bernie (wish the show would had a long run), Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart and capping off the evening with Carol Burnett. That was worth staying home on Saturday nights. Those were shows where the whole family can watch and laugh.
  • From 1984-1987 NBC must see TV Thursdays. The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court and Hill Street Blues were great entertainment and quality shows. One would rush home from work to watch these shows. To remind us sitcom watchers it was Thursday nights, especially with The Cosby Show, brought the sitcom form of entertainment back to life. It was nearly dead the previous season.

I don't really have a favorite night, anymore. I liked the CBS lineup on saturdays in the early to mid 70s, though. I guess, if anything now, I'd say mondays from 9 till 11 on CBS. "TWO AND A HALF MEN" "COURTING ALEX" (although I don't watch them all the time) and "C.S.I. MIAMI".

I guess I would give it to Mondays(narrowly)...

Deal or No Deal
The Apprentice
Wife Swap

Sundays with Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy(I prefer the first one by far), Tuesdays with (Commander-in-Chief?) and The Amazing Race and Fridays with Deal or No Deal and Trading Spouses are close behind. Thursdays have gone down because only Survivor airs(though I still enjoy the show almost as much as I always have). Wednesdays are horrible(I halfway watch Invasion but it's not a must-see show for me and I will NOT be watching The Evidence, I hate crime dramas).

Sad, I have no sitcoms on my must-see list, though I do watch Hope and Faith(once it returns), Sons and Daughters(for now), and I will try The New Adventures of Old Christine on CBS, plus Courting Alex once it moves to Wednesdays.

Saturdays and Sundays for channel-surfing, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for American Idol.
