Blah. I guess the only thing to do is actually laugh at this. Some cell phone company gave my still-active cell number away to someone else. So now whenever anyone calls me, they get ANGRY MAN. Stupid Tracfone. So now I have to try and get a new number or something. ANGRY MAN should get a new one, because it was my number first.

And naturally, calling Tracfone is pointless. My dad tried 15 times. I tried a few minutes ago...and the have some sort of heavy call load going on.

Yeah, sure you do.

Seriously, has anyone ever heard of something this stupid happening? Same number, fine, but in the same area code??

OMG, seriously that man should be the one to get a new number, not you. I would have a major talk with the company abt their problem.

My dad called and talked to the guy, but he wouldn't tell him who his provider was, just that he had a contract.

Sounds like your phone was cloned, that happened to us once...it was weird. Luckily, the cell phone company caught it and took action.
