Default Would you have rather seen more Elvin, Sondra, Martin and Denise instead of..........

Pam
Charmaine
Lance
Sly

???

I know I would have. I just don;t see the need to add all those characters in addition to pam. Even though Martin was kind of nerdy, he was actually fun to watch along with Elvin. I hated ugly fast Talking Charmaine and Pam and their HOODRAT Friends-Lance and Sly.

You're too old school. I liked Charmaine, Lance and Sly. The Cosby Show needed to add some hoodrat flava!!!!

Elvin is the most underrated character on The Cosby Show.

Solomon you really are a weird dude. Charmaine isn't ugly and Lance wasn't a hoodrat. Lance was funny. I like Allen Payne. I wonder what happened to him. He disappeared after Jason's Lyric movie. He's been doing independent films since that movie. I've seen him in a couple of independent films such as Blue Hill Avenue and 30 Years To Life.

I agree, we could have done with seeing a lot more of Sondra, Elvin, Denise and Martin... I always used to find the episodes without them missing something, and I used to get frustrated that we only saw the Tibedeux's for maybe half the season's episodes whereas Theo was in every bloody episode. And yeah, Pam's friends certainly got too much air time in the final years.. they were funny, and I was happy to see Charmaine spin off onto A Different World, but I'd have rathered see Sondra more.

I liked Pam, Charmaine and Lance, I think they brought a lot to the table, especially in the episode "Rudy's Retreat" they were all hilarious. Elvin and Sondra were just annoying as hell to me. All they did was fight just about everytime they were seen together they were fighting over stupid things. But I think Erika was much better on Living Single then Cosby.

I hated all the new additions to the cast.

I thought Pam, Charmaine, Lance, and Sly were very good additions to the cast. I also loved Allen in Blue Hill Avenue. But we could have seen more of Elvin and Sondra, on the basis that of all the Huxtables kids, she was the least seen, and their lives would've been interesting.Martin and Denise were okay, but the simple fact of Denise being who she was just took away from the anticipation of seeing her character at that time of the show.
