Default Graduation Ceremonies for Public Schools in the 1970's

Florida made a statement about she wished there was graduation ceremonies for public school. She was talking about Michael. Was this actually the case for Public Schools during the 1970's? No Graduation for students not graduating Highschool?

Growing up in the early 70's, I recall there being graduation ceremonies. Maybe in the Chicago district there wasn't, but not sure.

I think it all depends on the school and the school district. The only graduations I've every had was from High School and College, But it wasn't in the 70's.

The only graduation ceremony I ever had was from HS. I never heard about any ceremonies graduating from 6th grade where I lived.
