what new shows are Coming to TVLAND and NICK AT NITE??????

Don't know about TVLand, but Encore Westerns starts Big Valley on New Year's Day. Considering what a nice job they did with Alias Smith and Jones (granted, I had to convert the pilot and trade for The Day They Hanged Kid Curry to get a complete set), I'm planning to commit this one to disc as well.

Now, to go off and study new schedules for January ... there's probably other cool stuff lurking out there ... :>

i have those smith and jones ones avaible

and in case you domt want to spend all that effort to do bonanza

i have thre first 5 seasons in great quality, all authored and just nicely done

avaible for a swap

i sure hope they follow through and go all the way throught he series

to fill in the rest

I have a complete set of Alias Smith and Jones, thanks - in fact, there are a number of people who finished their sets from me since Encore Westerns didn't run either of the 90-minute episodes. And it's not Bonanza that I mentioned above - it's Big Valley that's debuting on Encore.

Oddly enough, I tend to record shows I wouldn't really think about trading for - I find that once I start watching them, I get hooked all over again. And recording them myself, I know all the glitches and warts. It's rare that I'm interested in trading for a long-running series - I tend to stick mostly to one and two season shows when I trade, stuff I missed, or stuff that someone I like was featured in.
