Default DVD Seasons After 1?

Anyone know if the later (or in some cases remaining) season(s) of some shows are coming out?

For instance, Malcolm In The Middle season 1 came out well over a year ago and still no word on later seasons. Same with SWAT, season 1 came out to capitalize on the movie and then nothing on season 2. I fear that will happen with War Of The Worlds as well, damn it I want season 2..... Boomtown in another good one, I doubt season 2 (all 6 freaking episodes of it) will hit DVD.

What other shows had a first season put out and then seemed to have been dumped for future releases (I fear Night Court is going this route as well since the next release is a "Best Of" set that has no good episodes on it).

Default balancing act

Its a tough call
some shows that are not huge sellers get more season, because the rights to the show or whatever may not be as expensive
some shows like Night Court might have sold better than other shows, but dont get another season, my recommendation is this, if u like a show BUY IT, and have everyone u know buy it so that they keep putting it out

also WAR OF THE WORLDS u can get good quality dvd-r sets pretty easy on that one

Default Upcoming

Well There is always http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/

Right now I can see well into March for releases.
it isn't a huge Crystal Ball- but I did preorder Gimmie a Break and Charles in Charge instead of trading for them based on it.

But as Lamont says, the more that is bought the more that is made-

Or rented, I suppose.

i have looked at some of these --expert--sites and found the info false on releases

sales really dont seem to justify a second or later series on retails

the dukes of hazzard hasnt sold much, and look how many are out

they are discounted like crazy, i have seen them for under $10 a season

deep discount dot com , has had a ton of 2 for one, season sets lately, with free shipping, and thats at their normal deep price cuts, not at retail prices

i never could figure out how the studio issues things

lets see, arent these the same people who fund and ok the production of so many lame movies, oh ya

great judgement

even though i love earth 2, that had no business being released, or branded, guns of will sonnet,

and yet many seriously popular--and potential great sellers, are not

this is why when someone posts that they want--whatever complete show--and them some one jumps on behind them, its getting released in _________, so what, it doesnt mean it actualy will , and certainly doesnt mean the entire set will roll

very few have been run out so far to their completeness

and this is nothing new, look at col house and time life for long term examples

land of the giants---32 eps of the 50 some

gunsmoke-- 4 1/3 seasons of the 20

route 66 about 20 of the 116 eps are released

bilko--about 28 of the 142 eps

perry mason, about 72 of the set, aprox 1/4 total

and these are some highly popluar shows
