What was the name of Raj and Rerun's high school teacher? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello fellow WH fans,

Can anyone tell me the name of their high school teacher? In one of my favorite episodes, Raj and the gang play a joke on her by giving her a birthday present which was an empty box. They later find out that she likes them and they break into the school to try to fill the box with presents (one being a linoleum frog) and discover that the box is gone. When the teacher opens the box in front of the whole class, a vase is inside and Rerun screams "Who put that junk in there?!!" An alltime classic. I believe that the teacher also appeared as the judge in the episode when Raj sues a man for crashing into his grocery deliver bike. The judge later tells Shirley that she'd "make on heck of a lawyer". I just signed the WH-on-cable petition, let's hope it works....

The name of the teacher was Mrs. Getrude Collins.

What was the name of the High School?

The name of their high school was Jefferson High.....If you remember the Doobie Bros. Episode Rog. called for a press pass and said "This is Roger Thomas from the Jefferson High Gazette, Which Doobie Do You Be!"

Her name was Mrs. Collins, The Principal was Mr. Bradley

Hi All. I know the school was Jefferson High but wasn't the show based on the movie Cooley High? By the way, that movie was on today which got me thinkin about this show...
T.J. do you know if this show runs on TVLand or has plans to? This was one of my favorite shows and I would love to see it again.

You know I'm thinking that TV Land probably got this show for the Screen Gems deal. Hopefully we will see it in a box set or as a regular. I'll let you know ASAP if I hear anything from them. I love this show, I even have a mini-page for it:
