Default PARAMOUNT ORIGINAL FOOTAGES OF THE KNEW ARNOLDS OPENNING CREDIT

Merry Christmas HD FANS, i have a question, i wonder if paramount television has the original footages openning credit of happy days where they are showing richie, potsie and ralph singing in the knew Arnolds before richie and ralph left, i could be wrong, but i think i remember when the band was singing in the openning credit they showed potsie, riche, ralph and chachi singing on the knew Arnolds on that one bandstand, in most of the happy days openning credit they only show richie, potsie and ralph singing at the old arnolds, who really knows, maybe paramount has the original footages that was shown on abc of the guys snging at the knew Arnolds in the openning credit

i dont think the credits in the 7th season were changed to show the new Arnold's, there were only 7 episodes that aired AFTER the New Arnold's was built [in #160- The New Arnold's (1/29/80)], and of THOSE at least one was actually produced BEFORE that episode was.

airing order:
#160- The New Arnold's (1/29/80)
#161- The Hucksters (2/5/80)
#162- Allison (2/12/80)
#163- Fools Rush In (2/26/80)
#164- Father and Son (3/4/80)
#165- A Potsie is Born (3/11/80)
#166- The Roaring Twenties (3/25/80)
#167- Ralph's Family Problem (5/6/80)

production order(thank's to Todd's guide on this site):
161. The New Arnold's
162. The Hucksters
163. The Roaring Twenties
164. Allison
165. Father and Son
166. Fools Rush In
167. A Potsie is Born

Ironically, "Ralph's family problem" was the last first-run episode aired and yet magically, the old Arnolds is back again!! I know most shows aren't aired in the sequence they're shot, but I think it would have made sense to have done so in this case.

I hope they will put them in production order if Season Seven is released on DVD.

I also hope they do this if Season Eleven is released on DVD, because the final episode was not the last first-run episode aired: Several episodes that didn't air during the regular season were "burned off" during the summer rerun season.

Maybe "Ralph's Family Problem" was supposed to air at an earlier date before the New Arnold's was built but was just postponed till a later date when they end up broadcasting it. Because we know how eps. can be held off till later.

The network probably just arbitrarily decided to air the New Arnolds episode when it did because of sweeps or something. I don't remember the original airdate, but that's always a possibility.

Who knows why networks do the strange things they do??
