6. What is the best present any one has ever gotten you?: Nothing materialistic, but it was the fact that a co-worker friend (who's now retired) survived her surgery she had in December 2000. There were complications, and everyone at work was worried about her, including me. She's also my most-favorite teacher ever.

7. What is the best gift you have ever given to someone else?: I honestly do not know.

8. Are you finished your holiday shopping?: I didn't really do very much shopping.

9. If you have one, what does your Christmas tree look like?: It's tiny. It's about 18" tall and is silver with white lights on it.

10. Do you have decorations on the outside of your house? I live in an apartment complex - no.

11. Do you do anything special on Christmas Eve?: No, just stay home and eat mom's homemade tamales and drink eggnog.

12. Did your family have any holiday traditions that you still do?: No.

13. Did you believe in Santa?: In the spirit of magic.

14. Do you go into debt at Christmas time? No. I didn't really shop.

15. Do you find the holidays stressful or fun?: I would say half and half.

16. What is the worst things about this time of year?: The craziness.

18. What is your favorite holiday song?: I guess "Jingle Bells."

19. What is your favorite holiday movie?: "A Christmas Story" is pure classic and Disney's "The Ultimate Christmas Present" is cute, too.

2. Where will you be spending the holidays?: I spent Christmas Eve at my grandma's house with my family...we opened her gifts to us and also gave out gifts to my little cousin. This morning, we opened OUR gifts and plan on having grandma and her boyfriend over so they can exchange their gifts. Then it's a big dinner later on

6. What is the best present any one has ever gotten you?: god, the record player/cd player/FM radio probably tops anything I've ever gotten. I am in love with it. Now if I can only score Paul McCartney tickets.....hmmm, that's for next year

7. What is the best gift you have ever given to someone else?: I'm honestly not sure. I always like to give things that I know someone will make use out of and enjoy.

8. Are you finished your holiday shopping?: I still have to get my brother and best friend something with my next paycheck, but they know that already.

9. If you have one, what does your Christmas tree look like?: Wow, it's really beautiful, actually...my Mom did such a nice job. The color scheme for the tree is red, gold, and green-- all the lights and decorations have that theme. There's a gold star on top as well.

10. Do you have decorations on the outside of your house? Not this year

11. Do you do anything special on Christmas Eve?: Christmas Eve is usually a bit more relaxed for us...we usually get together at a relative's house and eat appetizers, maybe open a few gifts. We save the big stuff for Christmas morning/afternoon.

14. Do you go into debt at Christmas time? Nah, I always start buying a few weeks before Christmas and everything just falls in to place.

15. Do you find the holidays stressful or fun?: a little of both Usually the week before Christmas, I'm running around and trying to get all the gifts I can before the big day. Once Christmas comes, however, I find it really relaxing.

16. What is the worst things about this time of year?: my stupid depression kicks in whenever it's wintertime. Thank god this year is pretty good.

17. What is the best thing about this time of year?: feeling closer to my family, the overall coziness...I love seeing all my relatives.
