I read somewhere that there WAS an unofficial spinoff of the Fresh Prince.

How was it and how long did it last after the Fresh Prince went off the air?

There was never a spinoff of Fresh Prince. Fresh Prince crossed over with "In the House" in 95 when Carlton and Ashely appeared on that show as their FP characters.

Reminds me of the TVTome debate. Many thought that 'In the House' and 'Out All Night' were spinoffs as they featured episodes with crossovers from Fresh Prince. They were created by NBC productions and usually when shows are created by the same production company, you will find crossovers to help boost ratings.

I really don;t know why anyone who watched every ep of Fresh prince would think that In the House and Out All Night were spinoffs of the show-lol

And also, Karyn Parsons appeared as Hillary Banks on "Blossom" in one episode. She was in the same car as Tony for some reason I can't remember now. Were they even on a date?

i don't think there was an official spin-off and if there was, then usually those characters or that character from the show would be the central character. the only things in da house and the fresh prince of bel air had in common was 1) they both starred rappers in will smith and ll cool j, 2) alfonso ribero played carlton in fresh prince and maxwell stanton in in da house and 3) debbie allen used to direct a few of the early season episodes of fresh prince, as well as appear in the first season of in da house as jackie
