Default Gilligan Fanatic, did you like the Grady Opening Theme Song better than the Opening

Theme Song of Sanford and Son? I loved Grady's Theme Song.

that is a good question. The Grady theme was great but so was Sanford and Sons. What is very surprising is that the Grady music was done by a different person. John Addison who does Murder She Wrote did Grady and Quincy Jones does Sanford and Son. For a long time I thought it was the same person. In a way the two songs are very similar. It might be because I have heard S&S theme song so many times but I think I like Grady's better.

Grady's Opening Theme was kind of long and I enjoyed every second. Matt I found out that Rollo guest starred on a episode of Grady and Woddy, Bubba, and Aunt Esther all guest starred in a episode of Grady. Those are 2 Grady eps I really really wish I can see.

how many episodes where there? It seems like a different cast member could guest star in everyone. I wonder what Aunt Esther and Woody would be doing over at Grady's? I can understand Bubba and maybe even Rollo but I wonder why Aunt Esther. She doesn't even like him.

Bubba, Esther, and Woody went to go visit Grady so they could give him a Surprise Party

Rollo went to visit Grady to go play Poker

The Show lasted from Dec of 75 to March of 76. So I'm guessing it was a total of 11 or 12 eps

ok then its weird that Bubba, Esther, and Woody would surprise him without Fred or Lamont. Now Rollo playing poker makes sense.

There seems to be a lot less info on the Grady episodes than a lot of other short lived series. I wonder why that is.

The real odd thing was Lamont being the Only Sanford and Son Cast Member not to visit Grady. I guess it would have made more sense for Lamont to be with Fred instead of Leroy Brown. We both know Lamont visting Grady alone would have been a bit odd-lol

Yeah, that would have been very awkward. Lamont was Grady's daughters age so that might make a little sense if the producers had him came over to see her or something like that.

I saw it a couple of years ago when TVLand aired it. I taped that episode.

I love the S&S theme song. But I have to admit I have never heard the Grady theme. Does someone have a link to it someplace?

If I remember correctly, Grady's theme song sounded like something out of a circus.
