Default What's up with TVLand

I don't understand something. According to TVLTheLink at the TV Land board, Night Court, Sanford and Son, and What's Happening!! have been divested from the lineup starting tonight to make way for MORE Andy Griffith and Good Times. Anybody know what's up? I thought it was wierd these shows just leaving the network all of the sudden....They're gone from the January schedule as well.

No, Andy and Good Times marathon is tonight only. See the December thread's last post for details.

That is incorrect. The change is just for tonight. I double checked with TV Land programming, and they made no such mention that this will be until further notice, it is a one time only airing tonight. I'll contact TheLink to let him know. Or if someone can also tell him there. What's Happening!!, Night Court and Sanford & Son will remain at its normal slots after tonight.

i think tv land should pick up who's the boss? they should show more 80's shows. i havent really been a tvland fan b/c sometimes when i tune in its some black and white corny show that i dont know of, sum times its a movie or wat ever it is..i would be more of a viewer if they showed more 80's shows i think the only 80's show on there is nightcourt.
the shows they should put on tv land are
whos the boss? (at a good time slot unlike n@n)
silver spoons
family ties
growing pains
different strokes
growing pains

If you don't want to see black and white shows, don't turn on TVLand. Simple at that.

The only black and white show that should be on TV land is The Honeymooners

I agree with that "The Honeymooners" should be on the line-up, but what about all of the other great, yet forgotten? Like Get Smart and The Lucy Show? And the other classics that are almost done to death, but they deserve to be done to death? Like I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith and The Munsters (alright, bad example, that isn't done to death)?

Well I Love Lucy is a Black and White show that wasn't on the same entertainment level as the Honeymooners. So if both shows were on TV LAND they defintely shouldn't be on the same night
