Correct me if I'm wrong,but it seems that Adelaide eventually left the Drummond residence without any explanation.We never even saw her go.Out of the blue she was replaced by Pearl.Though she did appear at Mr.Drummond's wedding,along with Mrs.Garret.

I don't think there was a explanation since she left the show to pursue other acting opportunities. She left the show in 82 to star in Filthy Rich ws premeired in 1982

yes she was at mr drummonds wedding in the back of my mind i always had a good explanation for why she left i always thought she left to help out at her sisters farm

did she ever come back? Cause I was watching this episode and they were talking about how they hada eat Kimberlys cooking till Adelade could come back.

Nedra had a really brief cameo in the late 1980's cult classic "Earth Girls Are Easy" as the old lady coming out of the salon that Geena Davis opens the door for, and then says to Geena "that door's a real bitch"
