Those gift bags have spoiled me, and I use them for a lot of gifts. Just so easy.
When I do wrap gifts for adults, I lean towards foil paper...silver or gold. I like to use one inch ribbon with a nice bow on top. I always wrap kid's gifts. They love to tear them apart. I buy colorful paper with Santa or Disney patterns. When I give a gift card, I put it inside a money card. I buy those by the pack of eight or whatever. I also use those to give cash Christmas gifts to our hairstylists, cat groomer, mailman, etc.

The cheapest wrapping paper I can find, no bows or anything. I also use gift bags on occasion. I wanted to use silver foil paper this year but I couldn't find any.

I use the ugly cheap wrapping paper my parents buy. I put bows on mine because I feel the need to add some prettiness.

I can't wrap for smack.
I hate using wrapping paper unless the box is really big. I think it's easier that way. I prefer using bags and tissue paper.

Badly?
![]() I like fancy paper, one because it's pretty, and two because it tends to hold up better to folding & cutting. One year we bought this paper somewhere that had lines on the other side so that you could cut straight. Man, I wish I could find more paper like that! I can't cut straight at all. |

I usually try to find a box to put the gift in before I wrap it. Unless, it already comes in a box. Then, I wrap it in wrapping paper and tape it up, put a ribbon on it if I have any and put it under the tree. I got cool wrapping paper this year. One with penguins and snowmen on it and another with some bells on it. Kind of simple, but still Christmasy.

No, I'm not patient enough to do that. Most of the time I just throw it in a bag and give it to the person.

One of my husband's friends gave him a gift the other day (probably the friend's wife). It's a square red velvet bag, with the edges lined in white satin. It's embroidered with Merry Christmas and little green holly leaves. The holly has red and white beads in the center.
It has a drawstring. It's just beautiful. I'm not even sure I want to re-use because it's so pretty. I may fill it with candy and display it. |

I hate hate hate hate wrapping presents. Love to give 'em, hate to wrap 'em. But I usually just wrap them in whatever wrapping paper I have, and usually throw one of those bows that are like 96 cents for 50 of 'em on top with a sticker tag.

I take my gifts to the gift wrapping center at the mall, hand them over to the magnificent experts, who exquisitely wrap each gift in lovely, shiny paper, complete with a bow! Saves me the aggravation of wrapping gifts myself... and badly!

I know if I buy something @ a store that has a gift wrapping center, and there is no extra charge, or the extra charge isn't much, i'll let them wrap it in a heartbeat! However, I was stupid and ordered something from walmart.com and paid 3 bucks to have it wrapped.. it was suppose to come to me, and it was wrapped up in packaging and then I looked at the wrapping.. and it looked like crap, I could have done a better job myself! |

i usually get stuck with an inordinate amount of wrapping because I am good at it - at least I make them look neat and pretty (mostly because of my OCD)
I always figure out exactly how much paper I need, and cut it so it is the right amount for the folds, use thick stiff paper or the foil for best results, and LOTS of tape. I could use a lot less tape, but for some reason I have to have every edge sealed - my wrapped presents are usually pretty frustratingly difficult to open. I'll use whatever bows or ribbon are available. |

I suck at wrapping. I usually just use fancy clothes boxes that might dad bought and used for my mom a few years ago. I know that's what I'm using for my sister's gift this year.
