Default possibility Charmed has life left?

I just read today that next season is going to be the last year of Gilmore Girls, combine this with this year being the last season of 7th Heaven (GG and 7H are the top 2 WB shows), I almost wonder if WB will want to keep Charmed around a little bit longer now. Once GG, 7H and Charmed are gone, Smallville (which probably only has 2 or 3 years left in the tank tops) and Supernatural (which really has yet to break out of it's shell) will be the only hit shows WB has left.

We all know Charmed is far past its peak, but I don't think the WB can afford to lose all of their hit shows at once. Remember when NBC lost Friends and Frasier the same year? they are still ways away from recovering from that

Wow, 9 seasons? That's a lot.

why would they be ending now anyways? Not a fan but it just finally knocked 7th Heaven out of the top spot for WB (something that Dawson's Creek, Charmed, Buffy nor anything else had the ability to do), and it looks like the type of show that could easily squeeze 9 or 10 seasons out as long as ratings keep up, they've already shown they were able to survive the daughter leaving home and going to college... which would've been the shark-jump moment for most shows.
