Thumbs up Good Times had a great finale

J.J becoming a success in the comic book business

Keith plays football again and gets a new apartment for him & Thelma

Thelma is pregnant

FLorida moves in with Keith & Thelma

Wilona & Penny move into the same building as Florida,Keith & THelma

Michael moves into a college dorm

My rhetorical question is: What took Michael so long to move into a college dorm?

My rhetorical question is: Why on earth would Keith & Thelma want her mother (Florida) to live with them?? If I was Keith, the last person I'd want around is my mother-in-law, no matter how nice she was.

Who know Michael could have gotten a grant or scholarship that's why he moved to the dorms. I went to college and if you don't signup and pay for a dorm you don't get one. So I'm taking it that's why he was still living at home his first year. And a lot of times when kids get scholarships for college it's only a couple thousand and that's not enough to do anything with. tuition and books will eat that up so a lot of time that doesn't leave money for housing.

I wouldn't think they'd want living with them, but under the circumstances I can see why. I don't think they wanted to leave Florida trapped in the projects while they were moving to a nice place. I mean afterall, Florida helped to provide for them while Keith was injured and couldn't play.

I also thought the final episode was great, a happy ending for all. I think Florida would have ended up moving on her own after getting settled. She'd probably figure that Newlyweds need to be alone, I could see her being Wilona's roommate.

To help them look after their baby...(that is my rhetorical guess)

I wonder how annoying it was, in that small crummy house in the projects, to listen to Thelma and Keith "work on getting Thelma pregnant."

On the other hand, Michael got some sex education...whether he wanted to or not.

Yea, I agree...gr8 finale. Very tidy. All loose ends tied up. The kicker would have been Bookman getting a job at their new apt. Or better yet, winning the lotto and buying the building. lol.

In a way, I'm glad they had a finale to tie up loose ends. Some shows like the Jeffersons for example didn't have finales. However, everything seemed so dang rushed. It was too much all at once.
