Does anyone remember which episode has Carvelli singing "Peanut butter and jelly, that's all I put in my belly"?

Yeah It was called "The Gang Show" that's the one where Epstein and Washington performed as the mindreading duo called "Medium and Rare"
Carvelli went on after them and sang two songs 1. Carvelli's Theme 2. Peanut Butter and Jelly. ------------------ Epstein: Once I connect the dots, that's that. Chico: Clean Clean Clean! ::jumping up and down:: Ed Brown: Ed Brown's Garage, home of the dirty mural. Louie: Stick out your can, Here comes the Garbarge man! |

I taped "The Gang Show" and have watched Carvelli sing "Lunch" about 100 times so far. What a great song!

He is a card. (Charles Fleishman ?sp) I don't know if it is available on VHS, but he did a one night stand on HBO in the ... early 90's maybe - it was after the whole Roger Rabbit thing.
He did lots of songs funny as lunch. ^_^ |

I wanted to bring back this very old thread because I have a song lyrics question. Who remembers the Pizza Man song from the Sweathogs that went something like this:
Paparelli's Pizzeria Billy drove the delivery van Little late, but, we all loved him As the Paparelli Pizza Man! [the Pizza Man] I don't think I've seen the episode that came from more than a couple of times since it originally aired, so I suspect my memory is not too accurate. Can anyone help with the lyrics and in identifying the source episode? Thanks...! |

I remember the song very well. "Peanut Butter And Jelly that's all I put in my belly." Very catchy and funny. I don't remember what episode it was from though.

I'm only sure of the first part but have different memories of the rest.
All the Sweat Hogs: Pep, Pep, Pepperoni An, An, Anchovy Paparelli's (for some reason I always said Parsonelli's) Pizzeria Johnny drove the delivery truck We all knew him, we loved him The Paparelli pizza man - Only Horshack: The Pizza man! Probably wrong, but that's what I recall. Amazing that is still in my head. |

I've been trying to find a reference to this, my school rock band performed it and I can't find it anywhere. If anyone has a link that would be great.
It went: Pep pep pep pep, pepperoni A a a a anchovy Mushrooms, olives, and baloney That's the only pizza for you and... me/Small, make it a medium, make it a large, make it to go, oh oh Pepperelli's Pizzeria, Johnny drove the delivery van Not too bright but we all loved him cause he's the Pepperelli's pizza man Hey pizza man (hey pizza man) (spoken) Johnny needed to find a job But he wasn't having any luck when he heard the pizza parlor needed someone to drive their truck So Johnny got his license by cheating on the test and now he's delivering pizza pies and everyone loves him best One day waiting on the corner on the corner, waiting for a bus A truck came speeding down the hill and was headed straight for us We all knew it was over we had just run out of luck When suddenly the pizza van appeared in the path of that killer truck We'll never forget you Johnny the way you swerved in front of that truck, to save our lives we rushed over but you were dead before we could thank you, wherever you are tonight, Johnny, you have our undying love Two of the pizzas were still hot. Pepperelli's Pizzeria, Johnny drove the delivery van Not too bright but we all loved him cause he's the Pepperelli's pizza man Hey pizza man (hey pizza man) |

Thanks so much for posting the pizza song! I can see that my memory was inaccurate as I thought it was a Billy who drove the van, which you've corrected to Johnny. And I thought it was "little late" instead of "not too bright." It's a shame that this hasn't aired in so many years.

The song is kind of funny, but the episode it's from is a stinker, even by episode four standards.
