Question Wonder if TV LAND plans to add Welcome Back Kotter to their lineup?

But they don't seem to keep shows on for very long after they have been on marathons to introduce them, and then add them to the lineup. That happened to MAVERICK. It was on one of those marathon weekends to introduce it and then it was added to the daily lineup and didn't last too long after that. Guess if they did add Kotter to the lineup, it probably would end up like MAVERICK.

No kidding--they do that pretty often... what's the point of introducing a show for 48 hours, having people fall in love with it all over again and get excited to see it, then have it not even APPEAR in the line up at all??

I say we all constantly write to TV Land on a daily basis because I NEED Welcome Back Kotter like you wouldn't believe--I've been watching the same 12 episodes daily that I managed to snag on tape during the marathon... I'm hooked... I need a new fix...

I agree......why tease the public with something they are craving then drop it....

I remember watching the show when it was orginally on! Who would have thought that Travolta would have been a household name? I enjoyed the show for the first three years but for some reason, the writing wasn't there for the fourth.....but maybe that was just my opinion......

I feel that if enough people would write TV LAND and DEMAND that they run the show, maybe they will eventually? I am having problems with a letter on my eyboard and I have to wait until I get a new one before I can write to them!

Oops...noticed that you didn't have an email icon on your post. Here is what they sent to me:

Thanks for your letter. The show you are asking about was shown as part of
our periodic "library dipping". Basically, this means it was never really a
part of our regular line up, but part of a special airing of a show for a
short period of time with only a limited number of episodes available to us.I have noted your interest in the show for our Programming department. Thanks for your interest and feedback. TV Land Online
