Default What songs do you hate by your fave singer(s) / group...

I love Madonna to death. I have watched her since she came out in 1983 when I was 18. But! I can't stand her song "Don't tell me". I couldn't get into that song and that video sure didn't help.

Queen: Awesome group/band. However, "Bicycle" I can't even figure out why the hell they thought that song should have ever been recorded.

with Madonna, I have never liked "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", she frankly did not have the voice for the song when she recorded it in 1984. I also hated Hollywood from American Life and couldn't believe that song was chosen as a single.

David Bowie, some of the album tracks on "Tonight" were particularly brutal (Loving The Alien and Blue Jean were great, but the rest were terrible, especially his caberet take on God Only Knows by The Beach Boys and a really embarassing cover of I Keep Forgetting by Elvis), and the two Tin Machine albums he cut were frankly unlistenable, as is "Wishful Beginnings" from the Outside album.

Janet Jackson, I have never been a fan of her "sexy ballads" post-Rhythm Nation 1814 except for Any Time, Any Place, the ones on All For You were just horrendous

there's plenty others that I love and have songs I'm not so fond of, those just came to mind immediately

I love Madonna's version (1984 version only) of Rose Royce's song. As a matter of fact, I like it more than Rose Royce's version. I sure don't like the newer version she did of the song shortly after "Evita".

I didn't like the 1995 version of the song either. I wasn't much of a fan of "Fever" even though I did like the "Edit Two" mix that was in the music video. For the most part, I much rather her sing her own songs when you consider those two and "American Pie", I love a lot of her ballads, just not Love Don't Live Here Anymore.

wow, Pleasure Principle's my second favorite track off Control (besides "Control"). For her hit singles, I hate "Someone To Call My Lover", that song is just too cheesy for someone Janet's age, it kinda reminded me of something Mandy Moore would do, the sample made the song nice but the song itself was just too below an artist of Janets level

Carrie's Inside Your Heaven- it was an AI song she was forced to sing because she won AI. I didnt like it and apparently Carrie didnt either. Most of her fans didnt like this song and the music on her debut album is a lot better.

Kelly Clarkson- I don't like a lot of songs from her first album- "Some Kind of Miracle", "Anytime".

Maroon 5- Never really liked "Secret", but it's grown on me.

Pat Benetar- Ooh Ooh Song. The whole song is basically "oooooooh"

Bryan Adams- Flying (from his new album).

I newver like d Paul McCartney's "The Other Me," from 1983's Pipes of Peace album. It actually has a line that goes, "Something took a hold of me / And I acted like a dustbin lid." How does one act like the lid of a trash can?

Also, "Emotional Rescue" by the Rolling Stones. Jagger can't sing falsetto.

I love Pat Benatar too, and I agree, that song is just godawful, sadly it was a top 40 hit for her, while songs like "You Better Run", "Precious Time" and "Le Bel Age" didn't go anywhere near the top 40, something is wrong with that picture as all three of those songs were infinately better than "ooooooooooh oooooooooh ooooooooh ooooooooh, oooooooh ooooooh ooooooh, ooooh ooooooh oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh ooooooooooooohhhhhhhh" over and over for 4 minutes

I never understood how that song got to #3 yet "She's So Cold" off the same album only hit #24, when the latter was infinately better IMO

From Prince, I've never been crazy about the last two songs on Around The World In A Day: "The Ladder" and "Temptation." There's also a b-side he did called "Girl" that's not the most pleasant listening experience. And a song from his Crystal Ball album: "Cloreen Bacon Skin" I can do without.

Kelly Clarkson - I Hate Myself For Losing You, this is the only song on Breakaway that I hate.

Ashlee Simpson - I don't like Say Goodbye, its pretty dull.

For some reason, I don't like Daydream Believer by The Monkees. It's just...stupid. Actually, a lot of their unknown album stuff is better than the hits.
