In the episode where a girl is planning to commit suicide, she goes to Mr Woodman, and tells him, "Id like to be a.." and she said this long weird phrase, and he yelled "you want to be a SWEATHOG?!" Does Sweathog stand for anything?

She wanted to be in the Remedial Academics Class. I think they called themselves Sweathogs because maybe it sounded better than Remedial Academic to them. I agree, I'd chose Sweathog over Remedial Academic anyday. lol

I wondered about that one myself!
I found myself laughing out loud at the earlier episodes. Even my 7 year old niece got a kick out of them! She couldn't believe that this was the same John Travolta who was in GREASE!!!!!!!!!! But she thought his face looked familiar! Wonder what happened to the other sweathogs-Bob Hegyes, Lawrence Jacobs Hilton and Ron Palillo? I think I saw Palillo on ONE LIFE TO LIVE several years ago. What happened to Gabe Kaplan? |

Robert Hegyes - has 2 kids, just turned 50,
He's a part time instructor of English Composition and Public Speaking at Brooks College in Long Beach, CA. He's the producer of "So Little Time" the Olsen twins show on Fox Family. He still keeps in touch with the other sweathogs, Infact, John Travolta is his daughter Cassie's godfather. He's on this show called Barhopping on the Moviechannel and Showtime, sometime this summer. I found this stuff out at http://www.roberthegyes.com ------------------ Epstein: Once I connect the dots, that's that. Chico: Clean Clean Clean! ::jumping up and down:: Ed Brown: Ed Brown's Garage, home of the dirty mural. Louie: Stick out your can, Here comes the Garbarge man! It's pretty cool that he shares his memories and feelings like that. I love those pictures.

I just plain love Bob Hegyes as the incredibly gorgeous Juan Epstein! I mean--that's perfection if I ever saw it!
