I liked the one where Kotter led a debate between the Sweathogs and the top students. It showed that everyone has their own field of knowledge and expertise.

My favorite was when Judy Borden and Vinnie were going out with each other and B4 they dated in the episode they were trading insults.
Judy:"Vinnie, your'e so low that you could crawl under a pregnant ant!"

I like the fourth season episodes. You kno, the ones with orange graphics, and no Kotter or Barbarino.

They hold a special facination for me... sort of like a train wreck.

my two favorites were "the pilot" which was
the very first one, and "the return hotsy
totsy" if this is the correct spelling, the
reason I like those two is because I was
at the taping of those two shows, the acting
school I attended, went on a field trip to
those two episodes. The cast members were
very nice, john travolta was very sweet,he
gave all of us his autograph. Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs had an album out at the time
the major song was called "fly away" he
signed the album cover for my friend, and I
told him that I saw his family that morning
on a tv news show. It was fun being with them.

They are perversely fascinating, aren't they? You could write a book on "How To Kill A Sitcom" after watching them.

Still, we do get to see the beginnings of Della Reese becoming an Angel by attempting to straighten out The Sweathogs.

I think my favorite episode among the ones I've seen recently is the "Deep Throat" episode, which spoofed the then-recent Watergate scandal. Another good one I remember (but have not seen in several years) is the "Network" parody episode in which Horshack hosts the school radio broadcasts and convinces his listeners to shout "We're fed up, Arnold, and we don't care who knows it!" out of their windows. BTW, this was a third-season episode without Travolta, but was nevertheless a very good one. In my opinion, the show still had some life in it after Travolta left in the middle of season 3, but the whole series fell apart early in Season 4, after Kaplan left.

Among my favorites are "The Sit-In" ("Down with liver!!"), "The Telethon", "One Flu Over the Cuckoo's Nest" - and any episode with Carvelli.

IS welcome Back Kotter still being shown on TV? I can't seem to find it syndicated?
