Specials & Marathons

- Hi-Jinks Season 1 Rebroadcast
Tuesdays for six weeks starting Tuesday, January 17
Tuesdays 9:30 p.m. ET/PT
Relive all the mischief of season 1 of Hi-Jinks when Nick@Nite brings back all the episodes for this six-week event, leading up to the highly anticipated launch of season two! Hi-Jinks turns the tables as the adults play good-natured pranks on unsuspecting kids. Hidden cameras capture all the action…and reactions of the kids! Susan Sarandon, Chris Webber and Meredith Viera are among the celebrities who’ve conspired with parents to prank kids.

1/17/06 - Ep. #001-Vivica Fox
Actress/model Vivica Fox (Kill Bill Volume I) holds a casting session to find teens to appear in a commercial for her new fragrance “Foxy.” What the young actors don’t know is that they’ve been set up by their parents to be pranked by Vivica whose new “fragrance” smells awful. Other pranks in the show include a dancing bear at the zoo and giant cell phones sold to teens.

1/24/06 - Ep. #002-Susan Sarandon
Academy Award Winner Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise, Bull Durham, Dead Man Walking) stands in for her wax figure at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Hidden cameras capture the reactions of kids’ tour groups as her wax figure “comes to life!” Other pranks in the show include a talking teddy bear and kids who are shocked to learn that their Moms got tattoos.

1/31/06 - Ep. #003-Chris Webber
Five-time NBA All–Star Chris Webber (Philadelphia 76ers) appears at an autograph session with his beloved MVP trophy.
Hidden cameras catch kids’ reactions when the rigged trophy falls over and breaks after kids touch it. Other pranks in the show include a vending machine that always dispenses the wrong item no matter which buttons kids
press and an elementary school principal who informs students of the new school uniform policy.

- Roseanne Week-Long Marathon
Monday, January 23 through Sunday, January 29 at 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. ET/PT each night
TBD

personally, I can live with Roseanne all night, every night, but I still would say that for most people, 6 Roseanne's a night is just too much, how about 4 episodes a night and let Who's The Boss and Murphy Brown each get an additional half hour?

Ratings. Suicide. Roseanne is one of two shows N@N have that are performing REALLY well. Murphy? Not so good. WTB?? Worse. I love Murphy Brown, and Who's the Boss? is decent, but it just ain't happening

well, the difference is that I have no doubt in my mind that by the end of 2007, all nine seasons of Roseanne will be out on DVD. Murphy Brown and Who's The Boss are stuck on season 1 with no immediate rush to get the rest out. Two Roseanne seasons are already out, as are two Fresh Prince and two Full House seasons, I think the MB and WTB fans should get the upper hand since they are not getting the nice treatment on DVD that the other fans are having.

I like your way of thinking! Too bad N@N doesn't agree. For now, I'm going to concentrate on getting all my favorite Murphy eps. on tape while I can.

At least they didn't shove WTB to 5 or 5:30 am

I like that idea let WTB and MB have another half hour, it won't kill N@N to treat those two shows decently.

I'm really into Roseanne and FP right now, but they need to ease up on them a bit, they're going into overkill and they're not doing those shows any favors, they're going to get the backlash Cosby Show had awhile back Especially since Roseanne airs on 4 different channels in my area alone.

as much as I love Roseanne, N@N's treatment of it is hurting, not helping. Usually it takes about 3 - 3 1/2 months to run through the entire cycle. This time they're already into season 8 just a month or so after going back to season 1 (when I received season 2, I actually was about to try to compare an episode on my DVD-ROM side-to-side with the same episode on N@N to see what edits were made, and Nick was already at the end of season 3 then), this "all night Roseanne marathon on Sunday" is just too much. Roseanne's one of my absolute favorite shows and I can handle watching a lot of it, but all it's going to do is burn the casual fans out the way a lot of people got sick of Cosby Show.

Having WTB at 5 or 5:30 would actully be a favor for me, during school weeks I obviously can't stay up that late and my dvd recorder has been acting funny so at 5:30 it would be great because I could watch it on N@N West coast... which would be sweet...

this is how I'd run the N@N schedule....

9-10: hour of Full House
10-11: hour of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
11-12: hour of The Cosby Show
12-1: hour of Roseanne
1-2: hour of Who's The Boss
2-3: hour of Murphy Brown
3-4: 10-11 hour of Fresh Prince repeated
4-5: 12-1 hour of Roseanne repeated
5-6: 9-10 hour of Full House repeated

or you could switch TCS and Roseanne's hours, I just figured TCS would be earlier since it's more family-friendly

all of the "ratings hits" get the preferred timeslots, yet WTB and MB also get an hour each, and then the "precious" top 3 shows get an "insomniac encore". That is fair to fans of all 6 shows on Nick and everyone wins, because WTB and MB are stuck in timeslots that N@N really doesn't court like they would 10 pm.

I would actually prefer they put Murphy and Who's The Boss on at 4 and 5 am....as long as they air them in "Double takes". I mean really, what Ratings are they getting at 4am anyway???...Put those 2 in blocks dammit!...WHo's the Boss has eight, and I think murphy has like 11 seasons. It takes soooo long to get through the cycle. That's why I don't watch them anymore....And please get rid of that Jeff Foxworthy and Fresh Prince....The worst!
......
.............By the way "Jeff Foxworthy" currently airs monday-thursday. Isn't that a bit too much for a 2 Season series????...WTB could be in that slot!
