Talking The Series Finale

Do you think that the final episode was a good way to finish off the show? In case you haven't seen it, Veronica and Perry realize that their relationship is important, Josh meets Bree's conservative parents, Olive buys Junes half of the company, and June tells Olive that she pushed Alec into the volcano to get his money.

That was a way sucky way to end the series. I think that nbc should have posponed the cancelation for another season. Veronica's closet could have made a comeback. Oh well, guess there's no point in arguing with them about it now.

I don't think it was a sucky way to end the series, although I do think it could have been a little better. It just didn't seem like a series finale, it just felt like another episode. I think a show should have a special "this is the last time we'll be together" feel, and this one did not have it, you know what I mean? But it was still okay.

NBC did not even air Veronica's Closet's series finale! It was first aired on repeats on the USA Network.

And just food for thought, the 2nd season's finale was also tooled to work as a series finale because the producers did not think NBC was going to give the green light for another season.

I wish it would have lasted longer, they should have never taken it off Thursday nights.

I totally agree with you, Mirror. "Veronica's Closet" should have lasted longer because it was a really great show. What's amazing to me is that in its first season, it wins the People's Choice Award for favorite New Comedy and Favorite Female Performer in a Comedy (Kirstie Alley) and Kirstie Alley is also nominated for an Emmy for her role as Veronica, and then the next season everyone wants this show canceled. I mean, the show was never quite as hilarious after the first and second season, but it was still really, really funny.
