Default Episode 319?????????????????????

This was a episode of Diffrent Strokes that featured a Russian guy in night school and then they showed the Russian guy at his Apt. In this episode, u didnt see Mr. Drummond, Arnold, Willis, or Kimberly. Only the Russian guy and his classmates. What the hell?-LOL Did anyone ever see this stupid episode?

Default Where's Arnold

I saw this episode this morning on Comcast On Demand. It was the worst one I've ever seen... I think that maybe it was an attempt to launch a new series? Thankfully nothing ever came of it.

Arnold was seen right in the beginning of the episode when he was told that he couldn't go to the hockey game with Kimberly and Willis because he got a D on his History Exam. I don;t know if he was seen again because I turned the episode off after about 15 min

Could this be the pilot for the show "What a Country"? It starred a known Russian comic who attended a night school. Don Knotts joined the cast at some point as the school's principal.

No, this episode was aired in 1981. The show u are talking about started in 1986

I'm not familar with this episode at all. Hmmm...I'll have to check it out. It sounds pretty bad! And no REGULAR cast members were in it at all?? Did it even have Diff'rent Strokes opening credits? They will show this episode, but they will skip regular ones. lol

The DS Cast members were only seen in the first 5 min and that's it. I see on Demand has went backwards with the eps. After ep 315, it jumped to 320, then 319, 318, and now I see today that ep 316 was added. Ep 316 is with Blair from Facts of Life. I hope 317 is added next week and everthing will be in order

This episode was a pilot for a potential series.

Almost American (aka Night School) Airdate: 04/01/81

Maureen McNamara is a teacher who teaches immigrants about America so they can pass their naturalization tests. A similar concept, What A Country! lasted a season in first-run syndication in 1986.

Ernie Hudson of Ghostbusters fame was in the episode.. so was Rosalind Chao.

But I still don;t understand what did the Pilot of Almost American had to do with different strokes. None of the cast members that was going to be on Almost American was never ever seen on Diffrent Strokes

I got around to watching it tonight. It was a rather pointless and unconventional episode.

I wish record it if episode 317 is added next week because that would mean season 3 would be close to being complete with only 2 or 3 eps left.
