Default Where In The World Is Season 4?

I admit, I got my fair share of Taxi DVD catching up to do (seasons two and three), but where is season four, already? No effort at all goes into the releases, they are just barebone, so no need to spend time on QUALITY, quantiful bonuses or elaborate design, so why take so much time with the release time between one season to the next?

considering there was a seven month gap between 2 and 3, I'm thinking we'll see season 4 in March or April of 2006, and season 5 at the end of 2006

I just hope it wasn't cancelled due to low sales. That is the problem with TV series on DVD, we gamble that it will all be released.

I think once a show makes it to season 3 on DVD, you can bet we're going to see the rest of it. I haven't seen anything abandoned after season 2

I truly hope so. It wouldn't surprise me at all though.

Well, we have Season Three of Starsky and Hutch but no release of Season Four in sight .. . . at least here in the U.S., at least. I hope you are correct.

Signed,
Respectfully,
Dutch

well, that's Sony for you, sometimes they'll take over a year between season sets, Dawson's Creek season 5 came out around the same time Starsky season 3 did, and season 6 of that was just announced (which was the final season), so don't count S&H season 4 out. I still am pissed with Sony over abandoning Charlie's Angels.

I really am starting to think that the DVD series followed the same path of the TV show... underappreciated and eventually cancelled

Default No you're not

Season 4 should be out by now or at least on schedule. I put off buying #3 until I know kind of when #4 is coming. LET'S GO PARAMOUNT!!!!

HELLO, I started this thread! PHE is really annoying.... take I LOVE LUCY.... a more than a year's gap between season one and two and then the progressing sets come out like gangbusters!

It'll come; the question is when?

Maybe I am just being negative, but I don't think we will ever see them.

I hope we do see them. They don't re-run Taxi here in the UK any more, so unless seasons four and five are released onto DVD, then my chances of seeing them don't look very likely. They haven't even released the DVDs in the UK; I've had to order the American ones (thankfully, our computer can play Region 1 DVDs.)
