Default A Thorn Named Rose

Is it just me? I can't stand the character Rose (Sarah Thompson). She is a
self-centered, domineering egotist who believes in nothing or no one but herself. But she outdid herself in the latest episode, doing everything possible to ruin the Camdens' Christmas. What in the world was Simon (David Gallegher) thinking when he fell in love with this woman?? She is definitely not a Christian. She doesn't even know the difference between Jesus Christ and Santa Claus! How ignorant can a person be??

Sandy (Haylie Duff), on the other hand, came off smelling like a rose. She is
the most beautiful (on the inside as well as the outside) new character on the
show. Now that she has become a Christian, maybe she can convert her
friend Rose. Now that would REALLY be a MIRACLE!

P.S. I thought that Rev. Eric Camden (Stephen Collins) showed much wisdom
in how he explained the personage of St. Nicholas (and the spirit of Santa) to
the twins. In spite of everything, the Camdens still had a merry Christmas.
(And Kevin and Lucy adopting both dogs was a nice touch, too.)

Rose is the worst character in the history of the show.

Simon should make use of some of this rage that's been festering in him the last few years, and kick the ever lovin' crap out of her...

and you're so right...one obviously doesn't have to be a Christian to understand that there is quite a difference between Jesus and Santa Claus... Rose is an idiot...

Simon's taste in girls has been going downhill pretty much his whole life... Deena was the nicest girl he ever dated steadily.. I couldn't stand Cecilia (but that's mostly because I couldn't stand Ashley Simpson, even in her pre-SNL days)... but the girls he's made friends with in college...Georgia and Rose... uggghhh!

Remember the early episode (season 1 or 2, it was shown on ABC Fam recently) when Simon and Nigel went to the make out party, and Simon was alone in the closet with that girl that he kissed? That girl was probably the cutest girl he would ever hang out with! She was a nice girl too... and... she liked the Tick! It's been pretty much downhill ever since for poor ol' Simon...

The entire rest of the Camden family (those that are left, anyway) all can see right through Rose, none of them like her very much, if at all... guess the only question is, will Simon figure it out before it's too late?

Rose's character should be killed off!

Conveniently, Simon never even appeared in the Christmas episode until near
the end. So he never had the chance to see Rose make an idiot of herself.
I wonder what his reaction would have been to her behavior. (She didn't even want the Camdens to have a Christmas tree. Sheesh! Take an allergy pill!)

"Love is blind" certainly applies to Simon. He should ditch this loser because I
don't believe she will ever change.

I think she is a funny charector. She makes the show interesting. I didn't see the christmas episode but I saw the preview, it was so funny that she gave away Santa Claus to the twins and that she was allergic to the tree. What's funny is that my doctor thought my sister might be allergic to our tree. My sisster thought it would be better to suffer than to take our tree down.

I can't believe Eric explained christmas to the twins. It's so boring to see that on T.V.. He ruins the show with all his boring speeches.

But back to Rose I loved the time when all the Camedons were complimenting her in a toast, trying to see the best in her, and then instead of complimenting the family she says something like I love being me.
