Default THRICE THE FUN

“Thrice The Fun”
This sitcom is about three college-aged girls who have came from different backgrounds and are forced to share a “studio-like” dorm room. The three girls are as different as can be in almost every way. There is one who is a ditzy party girl and fashion maven-Kylie, one who is a smart and sophisticated (high school) valedictorian-Brooke, and one who is a rebel who uses sarcasm to hide her true feelings-Savannah. The three at first, fight and argue over every little thing, but as time goes by start to become more like friends in the long run. They all find jobs at the local pub on campus, which is run by their fun-loving, shopping-obsessed “surrogate mother” to the girls. Nikki James is Savannah's best friend, who often hangs out with Savannah and roommates. Nikki and Kylie often buttheads over every little thing or issue. Also, Kylie's older brother, Paul Dawson (Bret Harrison) attends same college. Paul and Kylie are real close siblings--yet Paul and Brooke develop feelings for each other secretly. Paul's best friend and roommate, Nate Phelps (James Lafferty) drops by with Paul alot and enjoys hanging out with Paul, Kylie, and Brooke. Nate and Savannah share a love-hate relationship with each other--both denying having feelings for one another.

Episodes

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
Kylie, Brooke, and Savannah move into their dorm room. First impressions of each other aren't too great. The three girls end up fighting and agruing their first night at their new dorm. Kylie's brother Paul and Paul's friend/roommate Nate appear, along with Savannah's friend Nikki.

Ep2: Money, Money, Money:
A desperate Renee hires individually Savannah, Brooke, and Kylie for waitresses/barmaids at the pub on campus. The girls learn they all work at same place and start to bicker once again, each threatening to quit. Renee oversees/overhears the girls's bickerings, and has a sit-down chat with the three girls after their first day of working at the college bar -- resulting in the girls to resolve their issues with each other.

Ep3: Party, Our Party:
The girls attempt to host a party at their college bar, with Renee's permission. The party's guest list includes: Kylie, Brooke, Savannah, Nikki, Paul, Nate, and other college-goers. During the festivities, a not-so-sober Brooke gets a little "touchy-feely" with Paul when Kylie is not around. Plus, Savannah and Nate challenge each other to drink the other one 'under the table'.

Ep4: The Aftermath:
The gang must deal with nasty hangovers, and some have to deal with the aftermath of some activities done at the party. Brooke and Paul decide to keep their secret of making out at the party a secret, especially from Kylie. Savannah and Nate awake up next to each other cuddled up behind the bar-both wondering what happened last night. Renee is appalled by the girls' mess from the party and makes the hungover gang clean.

Ep5: The Ex-Hubby Alert:
Renee's ex-hubby, Greg shows up out of nowhere, with intentions of getting back together. Renee turns Greg's offer down yet feels bad for him after learning he left his job to come back to reconcile with her. Yet that all changes when Renee talks with Savannah and Kylie. Paul and Nate score some two free Lakers-Clippers tickets.

Ep6: Luck Of The Irish:
Savannah and Nikki meet their latest luck charm-some stranger with an Irish background named Pat. The girls use Pat as their luck charm as they do some gambling and actually win big money. They take advantage of Pat (who is clueless to them "using" him) up until Pat dies of a heart attack unexpectantly, also the girls lose their money, and whatever they got left them put toward Pat's funeral. Meanwhile, Renee is stricken with the flu and puts Kylie in charge.

Ep7: Mommy's Here:
Kylie and Paul's mom, Jules (Nancy Travis) drops by with a big news: she's leaving their dad (hubby of 22 yrs) for a cushy newsanchor job over in London. The kids are shocked and stunned that Jules is being so selfish and leaving their dad just for a job overseas. The kids soon find out that their dad has been diagnosed with kidney cancer and has only four months to live (plus it was HIS insistance of her taking the job overseas).

Ep8: No Way Out:
Nate and Brooke end up getting trapped in an elevator at the mall with a nine-month pregnant woman, a bickering elderly couple, and a mysterious guy with a gun who ends up taking all five of them hostage (while stuck in the elevator). Meanwhile, Kylie and Paul decide to go back to their hometown (Baltimore) to visit (and talk with) their dying father, Keith (Patrick Duffy). Keith informs his kids that Jules lied about him having cancer and him dying in four months--which causes the kids to be anything but happy with their mom.
