This will now be on Universal, and the title is "3121." Video for the first single tomorrow on VH1.

I wonder if that's a remake of Prince's song.

I'm hoping that it's better than her last couple of albums. The positive thing is, it can't be much worse.

The new Gwen Stefani and No Doubt records were shelved because she needs to rest in 2006. Rumor is that Gwen is pregnant.

ones I'll be looking forward to

Quote:
Ace of Base (I won't lie, guilty pleasure)
David Bowie (his last two albums were great, interested to see what he has in store)
Cher (her return to rock should be fun)
Dionne Farris (god, it's been 11 years, she was definately a great "one album wonder", well.. till now )
Janet Jackson (her last two albums were not her best but I still enjoy most everything she's done. I have no doubt that she will completely rebound from "Damita Jo" much like Mariah and Madonna have rebounded from their flops)
LaToya Jackson "Startin' Over" (I know it's wrong, but I do like "Just Wanna Dance" and "Free The World", might be a fun album)
Jewel (be it folk or dance music, I usually like her)
Killers, The (hopefully it's as good as the debut)
Maroon5 (hopefully no sophomore slump)
Kylie Minogue (I loved the last three albums, hopefully this is good too)
Pet Shop Boys (they've still got it IMO)
Portishead (definately one of my most anticipated albums, their last album was in 1997)
Prince "3121" (should be another great record)
Since the next Gwen and No Doubt albums are likely not going to be out in 2006, I removed those from the list for now.

actually, that's not too long, it is for todays pop artists, but Kate Bush just released her first album in 12 years, compared to the wait between The Red Shoes and Aerial, Clay's practically rushed his second album out, lol

retirement in todays music biz is sitting out a year, like how Celine said she was going away for a "really long time" and she was back two years after she said goodbye.

LOl yeah. Im just nervous though because his CD came out October 2003 and it was only one album, and after a while people do kinda forget and lose interest. I dont want his cd to have that 'sophomore' curse, though with his obsessive fans I doubt that would happen anyways

I think Kelly proved there probably won't be a sophomore curse. It seemed like everyone had forgotten about her and had dismissed her, and then suddenly her second cd sold more than twice what her debut did.
