I have been feeling really depressed myself the last couple of weeks. However, I have a long history with depression. Even though I take medication I still can have bad days or even bad weeks. And the past few weeks have been pretty difficult.

I get depressed a lot, mostly around the holidays...then again, I have dsythmic depression so I really can't blame Christmas on that one. Hmm, maybe spending some time with family and friends might help?

This season always puts me in the same blue mood. I really dislike it. If I didn't have any kids I'd probably wouldn't even celebrate Christmas.

I used to adore Christmas. I would start my shopping in September and decorate like a madwoman. I was known for my love of Christmas. After a series of losses in my family over the last three or four years, I can't stand Christmas.

I go through the motions, and I bluff it well. I decorate, shop and entertain, but truth be told, I wish I could wake up tomorrow and have it be January 2nd.

Thats the way it is for me. This was my Mom's favorite Holiday and her birthday is Tuesday so I always feel blue at this time of the year. This time of the year used to be a magical time for me but it it isn't anymore.

I know how you feel. Today is my mother's birthday. Holidays are never the same without your parents.

Christmas music is tough to listen to, especially certain ones, like Oh Holy Night.

Yea its really hard. I used to go Christmas shopping like crazy and I would decorate but about all I put up now is a Christmas tree.

My Mom's favorite Christmas song is Silent Night so thats hard to listen to.

No more or less depressed than any other time of the year. More annoyed maybe. The holidays always seems to bring out the worst in people. Or maybe that's just my impression of it.
