Isn't that kind of invasion of privacy?

Anyway, can't you just not list your school? They wouldn't find you that way. Of course, if you have nothing "illegal", then you really don't have anything to worry about.

Then don't use your real name or any details pertinent to the real you in registration.

Example:
http://www.myspace.com/thejimwilliams
A dummy Myspace I threw up to illustrate my point - my name isn't Jim Williams.

same heeere.

as far as the school thing...just address one huge F__K YOU towards your school's staff in your profile, and maybe write a nasty paragraph for them telling them what BS it is that they're going through your business. it's not against the law or myspace rules to say that and you're not saying it at school or anything so it's not like they have the right to formally punish you for it.

Invasion of privacy, yes it is.

BUT- If you're underage drinking and smoking pot (both of which are illegal) and feel it completely cool to post pictures on your MySpace, then you do the crime, be prepared to do the time.

What do they care what you do on a myspace or post??? There job is to keep you safe in school, and a myspace is out of school so it's none of their business, they shouldn't suspend you for something done out of school, because it's a free country.

Schools do have the power to report you doing something illegal. I know a lot of school systems (including mine) suspend you if you're arrested on a drug/alcohol related charge, whether it be in school or out of school.

So like I said before, do whatever you want... but if you do the crime, be prepared to do the time and don't ****ing bitch about it. I'm so sick of people throwing tantrums because they got arrested for possession of drugs or for being drunk in public, etc. "But it's not mine! It wasn't my fault!" You do something illegal, you'll get arrested if you're caught, end of it. God, just shut up already.
