Why didn't Willona first mention to Thelma abt ...
being a maid of honor when THELMA FIRST ASKED HER? Why the hell would she wait til THE DAY OF THE WEDDING to state her opinion abt wanting to back out???? How selfish was that??? Just a waste of dialogue, filler time and besides, who says you have to be young to be a maid of honor? That's why there is a Matron of Honor and Maid of Honor. They should have just changed the title to make Willona feel better.
