or was the plotting for both L&O and SVU sloppy this week?
On SVU, the 'victim' (the paralyzed bully) assaulted an eight-year old with a deadly weapon (scissors) and there were sexual overtones to the attack (he was going to 'make her straight') and there wasn't even a whisper about filing charges against him? And they went after the girl for defending herself? Was there anything in the script about why they cut the bully some slack? It was inconsistent - there was an ep (I forget the season and title) where they chased down a rapist from an old case and when they found him, he was wheelchair-bound. They still took him in. What gives? What's the difference now? The L&O sloppiness was a little less glaring, but when the DAs finally figured out what happened, and that the one cousin was walking away from the whole mess with $7 million, why didn't they go after the 'fruits of his crime' or at least give a heads up to the estate of the dead burglar for the inevitable wrongful death suit? They've done that many times before. While I have never thought L&O (and its offspring) was a great show, it has always been solid. Could it be the end is near?? Just my rant for the evening...g'night

The storyline sounds familiar, but it's way to fuzzy for me to comment on it now. Next time it's reran, I'll come back here.
I have no idea about the L&O episode. I won't watch this season. |
