Default Ashlee Simpson and the Battle Against Anorexia

From mtv.com

Ashlee Simpson battled anorexia when she was younger, she reveals in the upcoming issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. When she was studying ballet as a preteen, she starved herself to keep her weight down, the singer told the mag. "It was about six months of not eating too much at all," she said. "I was 11 and 5 feet 2 and about 70 pounds." Her family helped pull her out of it, she said, forcing her to eat. "That really helped a lot." Now that she's grown up, she has a healthier self-image, and loves her curves. "I think it's sexy not to be a bone," she said. "It's sad when people get too weight-conscious and don't look in the mirror and see themselves as being as beautiful as they are."

That's awesome that she's fought it and that she's well. Ashlee is awesome.

. Personally I think Jessica has a much better body than the Olsen twins and Lindsay Lohan, etc. Lindsay used to have an amazing body and boobs, but now shes all skinny.

Yah I dont get it. I know Hollywood gives the pressure to be thin, but no one likes it! Its distgusting. I dont want to see skin and bones, its not attractive.

A lot of guys don't like it either, so I don't see what the hell the attraction is...or who it's coming from.

No offense to anyone, but girls look funny with no boobs or hips.

Seriously. Its one thing to be thin and have a nice shape, its another to look child-like and have no boobs! Frankly Id rather be overweight with boobs.

yeah I don't like Lindsay's new look either. Hiliary Duff is really thin as well. My friend went to a tv taping and saw her. She has gotten way to skinny!
